Cheque (Check): current scope
UK cheque clearing and a casino’s acceptance or payout process are separate matters. Delivery, deposit, clearing and operator checks can all affect when funds become available. Ask the operator whether cheques are accepted at all, which payee details apply and how rejected or uncashed items are handled. Do not mail a cheque using an old directory’s instructions.
