Betfair Euro 2012 App Released

Football fans who also like a little flutter on the internet will be interested in the latest app to be released by Betfair.

The new product is aimed at the iPhone, is based on the Euro 2012 competition and is called Euro Finals. It includes features such as special offers, exclusive content and, of course, betting markets.

Those Betfair users who download the app will have access to team pages for the different countries which are taking part in the big event. Here they will find information about the team, previews of the upcoming games and details of the matches which have already been played.

Ben Carter is the Head of Central Online Marketing at Betfair. He said that this year’s Euro Championships are “going to be the Mobile Euros”. He went on to state that the company wanted to ensure that their clients will be able to “get their bets on” no matter where they are and what they are doing. He further confirmed that the Euro Finals app uses the “best bits” of their previous apps and will allow multiples bets and a cash out option.

The landing page is a fixture list screen and from here just one touch takes the user straight to the market place.

The Euro 2012 tournament will take place in Poland and Ukraine. It kicks off on the 8th of June with the match between Poland and Greece. If you really can’t wait for it to start then the Betfair mobile app has a countdown clock showing you how long is left until the first ball is kicked.
